  1. Install and activate the plugin.
  2. Go to SEO Optimizer → Settings.
  3. Enter your business name, select your service type, add your primary service area, and list all the cities you serve (one per line).
  4. Optionally, add your Anthropic API key for AI-powered content.
  5. Go to Keyword Generator or Landing Pages and start generating.

  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
  3. Navigate to SEO Optimizer → Settings and configure your business profile.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need an Anthropic API key? =
No. The plugin works in “Template Mode” without any API key, generating solid keyword and content templates. An API key enables AI-generated content tailored specifically to your business and location.

= How is my API key stored? =
Your Anthropic API key is stored in the WordPress database using the standard update_option() function, the same way all WordPress plugin settings are stored. It is never exposed in the frontend or to users.

= How many cities can I add? =
Unlimited. Add every city, neighborhood, or region you serve—one per line in Settings.

= Can I use this for multiple service types? =
Yes — select “Custom / Other” as your service type and describe your services freely.

= Is content cached? =
Yes. Generated content is cached for 12 hours per city to reduce API calls. You can clear the cache anytime from the dashboard or settings.
